Meet our Founder & CEO Peter Storz
My career in the tire industry began in 1988 when I took on a summer job at Tire Supply Corp. in Huntington Station, NY, as Yard Help. At just 14 years old, this role introduced me to the world of tires. I often joined my older brother on service calls during nights and weekends, where he shared his insights about the industry with me. I then moved on to work as a Service Technician at Don's Tire Service, where I focused on providing road service for large trucks and heavy equipment, handling tire changes and repairs.
My journey continued at Lanning Tire Sales in Venice, Florida, where I started as a technician specializing in large trucks and equipment. I broadened my expertise to include car and retail tires, and in 2004, I earned a promotion to Assistant Store Manager. From there, I joined Callaghan Tire in Fort Myers and Lakeland, Florida, initially working as a giant tire technician and boom truck operator.
In 2006, I was promoted to Service Manager and later moved to the Lakeland location in 2010. Between 2012 and 2015, I worked as a Boom Operator for Boulevard Tire in Fort Myers, focusing on the repair and replacement of earthmover tires. I then took on the role of Service Manager at Treadroc Tire in Dayton, Ohio, starting as an OTR technician and quickly advancing to Service Manager and Safety Manager within six months, where I set up and managed the foam filling operation.
Additionally, I served as the General Manager and Safety Manager at Best One Tire & Service of Mid America in Milford, Ohio, where I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing service and sales teams, and implementing safety policies and incentive programs to improve practices like proper tire inflation and maintaining shop cleanliness.
As of May 2024, I proudly hold the position of Founder and CEO (managing partner) at 24/7 Commercial Tire Solutions. Throughout my career, I've also served as a safety manager and instructor in three different roles. Additionally, I was the location instructor for the Tire Industry Association in one of my previous positions, which has given me extensive knowledge of safety policies and regulations within the tire industry.
Over the years, I've earned numerous certifications, including TIA, OSHA10, MSHA, JJ Kellar, Rema proper radial repair course, Toyo Tire Master, and Certified Forklift Operator, among others.
